Open House Night and The Costco Backpack Program

Costco has chosen to sponsor Englewood students to start the year.  Every Englewood student who attends our Open House September 3rd, 4-6pm will receive a backpack with assorted school supplies. They will also serve a hot dog, chips, granola bar and water to the first 600 students, parents and siblings.

The back packs will include: 1 zipper pouch, 2 pocket folders, 1 12” ruler, 1 eraser, 1 pair children scissors

The Costco Backpack Program is a nationwide program, started in 1993. Each warehouse identifies a local school to “adopt.”Employees then distribute new backpacks filled with supplies to each student in a chosen grade. Since 2005, more than 225,000 backpacks have been given away each year by Costco in the U.S.
