Developmental Assets – Discussed what
Developmental Assets are, how they benefit our children, and how they are being
utilized/taught at Englewood. Developmental
Assets are building blocks of healthy development. These help young people grow up healthy, caring,
and responsible. Mr. Kanne worked with
Mr. Ross to put together monthly themes for students. Examples of Developmental Assets are active
listening, asking different questions, encouraging friends in a variety of
settings.
·
Mr. Etchemenday also left suggestion cards on
the tables for parents to list anything that they would like to see presented
during the monthly PTC meetings.
