The Oregon Writing Project at Willamette University offers fun, interactive and educational family programs focused on increasing student achievement in the area of literacy.

The sessions last between 60 and 90 minutes.  There is a maximum of 40 attendees per session, so we need all students and family participant to please reserve their place.

Session 1 “Family ‘Pop-up’ Books”
Students and their parents will discuss their favorite books and then work together to create a "pop-up" book to celebrate these favorite stories.

Session 2 "Family Journals"
Students and their parents are invited to a night of writing, decorating, and fun as they create together a family journal that can be used for years of writing together.

We are asking for a $1.00 sign-up fee per attendant to hold your spot. A flyer will be sent home, and there will be a sign-up sheet in the office.

If you need a copy of the sign-up, you can print you own, by following this link;  Oregon Writing Project Sign-up.
